Hilton Hotel stripped of five-star grade

The Hilton Hotel in Southwest China's Chongqing municipality was disqualified from its five-star grade, according to the National Tourism Administration website, Chinanews.com reported on Wednesday.

The Committee of National Hotel Stars Assessment announced that it decided to strip the Hilton of its five-star title after the hotel was found to be involved with mafia-style organizations and prostitution, which is harmful to the image of China's star-level tourist hotel.
