The first 12 series of World Expo 2010 commemorative badges, all bearing the blue Expo mascot Haibao and Expo logo, were issued April 20 to mark the one-year countdown to the event which will open on May 1, 2010.

Prices for the badges range from 118 yuan (US$17.28) to 318 yuan. More are expected to be issued on special occasions during the countdown and for the opening and closing.
