A woman who has not yet found her "Mr Right" and is worried about a lonely future became pregnant by artificial insemination, Yangtze Evening News reported on Wednesday.

Nuo Xin (not her real name), 33, of Nanjing, the capital of Jiangsu province, decided to become a single mother when she failed to find a suitable marriage partner.

"I worried about my future life without a child to rely on, so I decided to have a child by myself," said Nuo Xin, who is six months pregnant. She said she still hopes to find her "perfect match" and hopes he will understand her choosing to have a child by artificial insemination.
