Pangong Tso Lake

Pangong Tso Lake is located in the north of Ngari Prefecture. Although it has no strange or scared religious significance, it is a famous great lake. Its western parts fall within the territory of Kashmir, which is salt water, so there are rarely creatures there as nothing can grow there. Its central and eastern parts that fall in Chinese territory however are fresh water, where fish and plant life are abundant.
