BEIJING -- Central Communist Party of China (CPC) and governmental authorities ordered better promotion, education and study of the history of the CPC among Party members and the youth.

The organization department, publicity department and Party history research office of the CPC Central Committee along with the Ministry of Education jointly issued a circular, calling for the detailed study of a new book on the Party's history to foster love of the Party and the country.

The book, which profiles the CPC's history between 1921 and 2012, was published ahead of the CPC's 95th founding anniversary this year.

The circular called on CPC organization authorities at all levels to include the study of the book in the training of Party officials and members.

Schools and colleges were also called on to include the book in lessons.
