A 4-year-old girl in Chaoyang, Liaoning province was seriously injured by an electric tricycle on Sept 17. Suprising everyone with her maturity, the little girl, Junjun, asked her mother to cut off medical treatment in light of the financial strain it was causing. Though Junjun's inner strength and toughness have touched everyone who hears her story, her mother said they would definitely continue to treat Junjun's injuries.

On Sept 17, Junjun attempted to drive the electric tricycle by herself while her mother and grandfather were busy unloading the vehicle. She quickly lost control of the tricycle, causing it to rush down the road and hit a tree at high speed. Caught between the vehicle and the tree, Junjun briefly lost consciousness. The girl was later diagnosed with bone fractures in several different places, acute bronchitis, respiratory failure and hypoalbuminemia.

Treatment for Junjun's various ailments costs 5,000 yuan ($746) per day, which is a great burden for her family. Even though the daily spending is equal to the yearly income of Junjun's mother, the girl's family still vows to do everything they can to save her, never giving up on treatment.
