PLA Garrison marks Macao anniversary

The Chinese People's Liberation Army Macao Garrison Wednesday held a grand meeting to mark the 10th anniversary of Macao's return to China.
The top officials of the PLA Macao Garrison said that protecting the stability and prosperity of the Macao Special Administrative Region has been the top priority for the Chinese People's Liberation Army troops stationed here. Our reporter Han Bin was there and filed this story.
A celebration of honor.
These soldiers have witnessed Macao's changes.
Their work is being recognized by the Central Military Commission, and the Macao SAR government.
Edmund Ho Hau Wah, chief executive of Macao SAR, said, "The PLA Macao Garrison has had close interactions with the local residents, since their arrival in Macao ten years ago. That has become an important part of the history of the SAR."
