After traveling for some time and becoming more familiar with international habits and standards, I see a big difference in Chinese public manner. The subway habit of standing in way of people trying to get off a train continues to surprise me. People don't understand to let others off the train before getting on to avoid confusion and accidents.

Eating so loudly with your mouth open that those nearby can hear the sloshing of food and saliva in your mouth is also a problem. I'm embarrassed to see us continue this unpleasant habit which makes foreigners wonder how hygienic a person is.

Chinese guys continue to follow foreigners who may attract the attention of Chinese girls. A girl is not left alone to meet a foreigner she finds interesting. The girl may momentarily distracted by the Chinese guy who cares nothing for her but just wants to avoid her meeting the foreigner. Or as has been done, the girl, for fear of tradition and culture, purposely ignores the foreigner, although she wants to meet him. Public manner? People must think that Chinese guys have an ego as big as the Great Wall to want to be able to control the actions of every girl in China.

I am surprised these things continue and people don't use their own judgment on public manner which they know enough of, and continue the ancient manners toward foreigners and even themselves.
