The 60-some medicines made especially for children that are available in China represent less than 2 percent of all medicines, Zhang Chengxu, deputy director of China Nonprescription Medicines Association, said on Saturday at a seminar on the safe use of medicine by children. Most children use medicines designed for adults, which presents health risks, he said.
