Profits growing for Hisense

The revenue of Hisense, a leading home appliance maker headquartered in Qingdao, grew 17 percent and profits rose 22 percent during the first eight months of 2013 compared to the same period last year. Its revenue reached 81 billion yuan ($13.2 billion) in 2012. So far this year, the company has hired more than 100 experts with international working and education background. The majority of those high-end new hires are specialized in software, chip design, artificial intelligence, laser television and system design.
