Chingmy Yau began her film career with the famous director Wang Jing in 1988 for the film "Naked Killer." She has been nominated three times for Best Actress at the Hong Kong Film Awards for "Naked Killer" (1992), "I'm Your Birthday Cake" (1995) and "Hold You Tight" (1998).
