A sun and immortal birds gold ornament, unearthed at the Jinsha site on Feb 25th, 2001. It shows four identical immortal birds flying anti-clockwise. On August 16th, 2005, the State Bureau of Cultural Relics announced that the sun-and-bird pattern is the symbol of China's cultural heritage.[Photo/jinshasitemuseum.com] |
