9. Visual System, Zhang Peili's three favourites

Visual System presents VS-CARRE-X, tableaux that are made up of live, moving and/or pulsating pixels, both organic and kinetic, while being comprised of a hyper-regular geometric frame. Their specific geometry means they diffuse an intense indirect light, which is nevertheless soft and imbued with a unique texture. These panels move in real-time to original music that is a mix of traditional Chinese cultural music and electronic sounds.
