Preliminary research says this ancient village was founded in the Ming Dynasty and it retains over 30 traditional residential complexes that originated in the Ming and Qing dynasties. Now that local government has increased investment in preserving local architecture, most of the villagers have moved to a neighboring area, leaving less than 10 households behind.[Photo/Xinhua] |
