Money drives legless truck driver

Although his lower limbs were cut off at the knees and he could only stand
with the aid of crutches, a legless Mentougou District man became a truck driver
transporting coal for some illegal mining operations.
The lucrative underground coal mining business attracted Shi, who hoped to
make big money by either digging or transporting coal.
He bought a discarded truck and rigged handles to the pedals near the
steering wheel, turning driving into an all-hands effort.
When inspection officers stopped him along the road a few days ago, they were
astonished to see a legless man sitting behind the wheel, reports Beijing
Evening News.
