Old plane worth much to enthusiast

A self-employed businessman in Suzhou, Anhui Province, is willing to pay a
high price for an old plane that once served as the private aircraft of former
premier Zhou Enlai, reports Jianghuai Morning Post.
Bearing the auspicious name "Handsome Man in the Sky", the "Trident 50050",
previously used by Zhou Enlai, Deng Xiaoping, and Li Xiannian, will be auctioned
in Anhui's capital city of Hefei in November.
The plane was purchased by a private collector after it was retired in the
1980s. But, no longer able to fly , the plane is now parked in Jiangsu, said the
auction company.
Liu, a self-employed businessman in Suzhou, is very interested in the plane
and has put down more than 100,000 yuan (US$12,080) as deposit for a future
auction.
According to Liu, if he wins the bidding, the plane would be placed
in Xiaoyaojin Park in Hefei.
