300,000-word love letter the longest?

A Chinese man who wrote a 300,000-word love letter to his Russian sweetheart
will apply for a Guinness World Record title for penning the longest such letter
in the world, reports Shenyang Daily.
Guo Lijie, 44 and twice-divorced, met the young woman when he was working in
Russia as a cook. He said he fell in love with her because of the way she helped
him and her passion for China.
However, due to visa problems, they had to separate for an extended period.
Guo decided to write his feelings to her and detail his life experiences. Before
long, the emotional Guo had written 300,000 words. Guo plans to apply for a
Guinness World Record with the letter as testament to the couple's transnational
love.
