Adhesive tape shuts up talkative boy

A kindergarten teacher who sealed a disruptive student's mouth with adhesive
tape has been fired, reports Jilin City Evening News.
Cheng Wei, the 5-year-old boy, constantly talked in class. Although his
teacher, Guan Li, often warned him to be quiet, the boy could not seem to help
himself from speaking. The exasperated teacher finally taped the boy's mouth
shut.
Cheng's parents were angry with Guan's "brutal" teaching methods. They
reported the incident to the headmaster and asked that the teacher be severely
reprimanded.
