Cave as home for 8 generations

Some farmers in Xiagan
Village of Nanning, capital of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, prefer to
live in a cave that is warm in the winter and cool in the summer, reports Xinhua
News Agency.
The Fan family discovered the cave 500 metres up the side of a mountain and
made it habitable for humans 200 years ago. They divided the cave into 10 rooms,
even raising poultry and livestock inside it.
Eight generations of the Fan family have spent their lives in the cave home
and 24 still live there.
