Mis-installed heater kills four

Four people in Pudong's Chuansha Town were killed by fumes from the vent of
an improperly installed water heater at about 10 pm on Tuesday, Xinmin Evening
News reports.
A 40-something couple surnamed Shen and Tang, who owned a hair salon, had
invited two elderly aunts to their home for dinner that night.
The four ate in the small kitchen while the couple's son went upstairs to
have a shower.
As it was cold, all of the windows were closed and the four were overcome by
the exhaust from the gas-burning water heater installed in the kitchen.
They weren't found until 10 that night, when an employee from the salon came
to report the accounts of that day.
The four were pronounced dead on their way to hospital via
ambulance.
