Flower shops in China's business capital are experiencing surge in sales
as Valentine's Day approaches. Imported tulips, exotic orchids and dyed
blue roses are popular items during the period. Saint Valentine's Day, the
Western celebration of the hearts, is increasingly becoming a popular
festival in China especially among the youth after more than two decades
of economic reforms.
