Teenage girl gives birth to a boy A junior high school girl gave birth to a boy in a hospital without knowing the boy's father, the Southern Metropolitan News reported Sunday. The teenage girl, Feifei (not her real name), is a 16-year-old high school student in Hengli Township in Panyu District. Feifei's foster father, surnamed Chen, said his daughter went to hospital by bicycle herself eight days ago, saying that she was suffering from abdominal pains. Chen and his wife did not know their daughter gave birth to a boy in the hospital until they received a call from Feifei's headmaster. "I was shocked at it. She wore loose clothes recently and we thought that Feifei was just getting fat," said Chen. Feifei's physical education teacher also said Feifei played basketball with other students as usual several weeks ago. Feifei said she and five teenage boys and girls, including three classmates, went to the beach last summer. Feifei passed out and found herself naked next to a male classmate when she woke up. Later, Feifei found out she was pregnant but did not know how to deal with it and gave birth to a baby boy. Feifei's male classmate denied that he was involved in the case. He had taken paternity tests Friday, and the results are expected to be released later this month. The head teacher of the high school, surnamed Li, refused to comment but said
it could be a criminal offence.
