China commends parents as models of good family educators

have done well in family education were commended by the Chinese government on
the eve of International Children's Day.
The All-China Women's Federation earlier this year initiated a nationwide
program to enhance the moral education of minors and improve parents' family
education concepts and methods.
The program featured the publishing of a series of family education works,
organizing family education lecture teams, developing exemplary parent schools
and commending exemplary people who have been doing well in cultivating
children.
The education trinity of family, school and society is very important to
cultivate the country's citizens to be physically and mentally healthy, said
Wang Zhaoguo, Vice Chairman of Standing Committee of National People's Congress
of China, at the ceremony.
About 150 delegates across the country attended the ceremony inBeijing on
Tuesday.
In recent years, China has been increasing its concern about minor's
education and growth, emphasizing various activities including publishing
children's books, promoting children's arts and opening psychological hot
lines.
