Missing boyfriend makes woman drunk
The sudden "disappearance" of her boyfriend on Valentine's Day led to a woman in Harbin of Heilongjiang Province getting drunk in despair and kicking up a ruckus, Heilongjiang Morning Post reports. After waiting till 10 am for boyfriend's roses, chocolates and sweet words, Li dialled his cellphone but got no response. The irritated woman rushed to her boyfriend's home, but she was frustrated by the attitude of his parents, who said their son left home in a hurry early in the morning. On impulse, Li picked up a bottle of wine on the dinner table and drank it all. When the boyfriend - who was suddenly called away on business - returned, he took the drunken woman to hospital. |
