The Expo has always paid great attention to the fundamental function of the financial market, especially the capital market, in boosting the development of China's high-tech industries and optimizing the allocation of resources.
With the development of the financial and capital markets having become an important developmental strategy in China, these markets have once again become the highlight of the
event.
Centering around China's economic sustainable development, the China Economic Summit will separately explore sustainable development strategy concepts and different perspectives of regional economic cooperation, financial innovations, high-growth enterprises and financial markets, the reform of State-owned assets and property rights, mixed ownership and private economy, energy resources and issues surrounding agriculture, rural areas and farmers.
The "Beijing Forum on the Capital Market" will mainly address such issues as the relationship between the capital market and perfecting market economy, regional economic development and the development of high-tech industries; how the capital market can meet international standards; and the capital city's financial industry and economy.
This year, the work on rejuvenating trade through science and technology has entered a new stage of development. As an important ingredient of the strategy of rejuvenating trade through science and technology, the insurance on export finances plays an important role in China's foreign trade of high-tech products.
The "Forum on Rejuvenating Trade through Science and Technology and Insurance on Export Finances" will be introduced at the Expo for the first time this year. Addressing such products and services
as the financing of vessel exports, management of interest rate risks, safeguarding against financing risks before delivery, forfeiting insurance, etc, the forum will pay attention to the most recent developments in China's export finance market and the international credit market while exchanging successful experiences from banks and enterprises combined to open international markets.
