Shanghai touted as China's most livable Shanghai was recently recognized as the most livable city in the country in a global ranking survey for last year, Youth Daily reports. Among the 215 worldwide cities investigated, Shanghai was ranked 102nd for its quality of life, five notches higher than in 2003. And among all the 47 cities reviewed in Asia, Shanghai was ranked 24th. The new ranking is due to the improvements in Shanghai's economic picture, the environment, public service and entertainment. |
