Jackie Chan, Hoffman Join 'Kung Fu Panda'

Action star Jackie Chan and two-time Oscar winner Dustin Hoffman have joined the DreamWorks project Kung Fu Panda starring Jack Black.

Ian McShane is also joining the lineup, with Lucy Liu currently in talks to join the film, scheduled for a May 2008 release.

Directed by John Stevenson and Mark Osborne, Kung Fu Panda will feature Black as the voice of unlikely hero Po the Panda.

Hoffman, Chan, and Liu will play Po's teachers - Shifu, Master Monkey and Master Viper respectively, while McShane will play thevillainous snow leopardTai Lung.
