美國時尚大師布萊克維爾1月10日發表2005年最爛穿著獎，奧斯卡得主芮妮齊薇格以剪裁突顯身材缺點的打扮，擠進第10名。最爛穿著冠軍則是初為人母、完全不修邊幅的小甜甜布蘭妮。
外道報道如下：Jessica Simpson followed Olsen. Though her Daisy Dukes shorts landed her on the pages of numerous magazines, Mr. Blackwell said she "resembles acut-rateRapunzel - slingin' hash in a Vegas diner."
句中的cut-rate意為"二流貨的；粗劣的"，例如：cut-rate toy（劣質玩具）。Cut-rate還可以表示"削價的，減價的"，比如：to dump wheat at cut-rate prices（削價傾銷小麥）；a cut-rate store（賣減價貨的商店）。
