China Everbright Bank Co reignites its IPO (initial public offering) dream in Shanghai, and date is likely to be before the end of June, ahead of that of Agricultural Bank of China, according to media reports Wednesday
The mid-sized lender still needs to work out details on its June IPO plan before winning authorative approval, said sources farmiliar with the matter.
The bank shelved its IPO plan in 2008, due to the erupt of the global financial crisis.
Agricultural Bank of China is said to raise as much as $30 billion in the dual-market IPO on the Hong Kong and Shanghai bourses.
