Leaked documents have scotched rumours pop star Britney Spears will be financially crippled by her divorce from Kevin Federline.

Britney's finances are supervised by an elite group of bankers and accountants. Sources say she follows their advice to the letter.

Documents drawn up by the legal team that prepared her ironclad premarital agreement - plus extensive research by Forbes magazine - reveals the mother-of-two has an estimated net worth of $124 million.

Assets include an Elizabeth Arden perfume contract worth $3.16 million this year.

Spears' 2004 tour netted her $25 million and her property portfolio includes a huge forest in her home state of Louisiana worth $28 million.

She also has $41.4 million cash in the bank stashed in six high-interest accounts.
