Hollywood actor Tom Cruise has shunned his multi-million dollar fortune - because his career and children are much more important to him than material goods.
The star - who is estimated to be worth GBP125 million - claims he has given up gadgets and technology for a more simplistic lifestyle.
He says, "I have no iPhone, no mobile, no e-mail address, no watch, no jewellery, no wallet. I simply want to be with my children and make movies.
"I am the boss of 1,000 people (but) I don't see myself as an icon."
