Heather Mills has tempered the media criticism of her by earning a nomination for the Celebrity Mum of the Year award.
The 40-year-old, who is the mother of her four-year-old child, Beatrice, with Sir Paul McCartney - who she's currently taking on in a bitter divorce battle - has been named as a contender for the title bestowed by Britain's Grattan magazine.
Spice Girls Victoria Beckham, Melanie Brown, Geri Halliwell and Emma Bunton have also been voted into the nominations list. They've received praise for taking their children on tour with them.
More than 12,000 Grattan readers voted for their favourite mums.
Mills faced McCartney in London's High Court on Monday morning when the former couple took their divorce battle to the courtroom. Mills is representing herself in the private hearing over the former Beatle's estimated GBP825 million fortune.
