Italian Ambassador Attilio Massimo Iannucci stressed the importance of trade between Italy and China.

"The Italian government attaches great importance to the promotion of our luxury goods in China and on cooperation between our two countries," Iannucci said.

"We hope Italian companies could provide better products and services to Chinese consumers," he added. "At the same time, this ceremony and the World Luxury Association is an important and meaningful platform for countries that manufacture luxury products."
