Dentsu Inc, Research Center for Advanced Science and Technology, the University of Tokyo, Robo Garage and Toyota jointly developed the robot astronaut, called Kirobo, which was carried by the Kounotori 4 cargo spacecraft and launched by a H-2B rocket on Aug 4 from Japan, and arrived to the ISS on Aug 10.
