Signature pieces

Most of the items are limited editions designed and created by Danny Bartlett. The label has a rock n’ roll aesthetic that has been influenced by 200-year-old indigo Japanese heritage and the DIY aspect of punk rock culture. Here are three finished pieces recommended by Bartlett for people to get an idea of his work.

Signature golden bomber

The gold metallic and black bomber jacket was made from nylon with diamond quilted and ergonomic ribbed armhole gussets. It is a handmade piece in a vintage Japanese style with a patch stitched on the back, vintage talon zippers and traditional Japanese indigo boro printed lining.

Indigo boro sofa

The handmade traditional brushed cotton covered sofa has a madras check pattern and is embroidered with Japanese natural indigo fabrics. It is a modern take on a compact two seater, scaled to fit spaces too small for a traditional sofa in executive suites, lounges and homes.

Japanese kimono and Chinese pheasant

This garment is a combination of traditional Japanese and Chinese elements. The 200-year-old Japanese kimono was acquired at a secret market in Kiojima, Japan in the summer of 2013 and refurbished and labeled by Bartlett in Shanghai one year later. The pheasant was acquired from a secret mobile taxidermist with one eye in Beijing in the winter of 2014.
