New CCTV documentary

China Central Television recently announced that it will make the documentary, Garments of China, to show the culture of costumes and the textile industry in the country. It aims to emulate A Bite of China, a hit documentary on Chinese culinary culture.

200 years of founder's birth

German luxury watch brand A. Lange & Sohne recently celebrated the 200th birth anniversary of brand founder Ferdinand Adolf Lange with a banquet in Beijing. Chinese opera singer He Hui performed at the event. The brand opened its second China store in Beijing SKP in July. It unveiled a new manufacturing facility in Glashutte, Germany, in August.
