The restaurant's Chinese name, Ju, which literally means "get-together", reflects chef Colagreco's concept that "a meal is an event in which you share your life, your smile and your food".

Mirazur in Menton is known to be Mediterranean inspired. Azur in Beijing also defines itself as a restaurant that features "the best of authentic and creative French Riviera cuisine", according to Shangri-La Hotel Beijing.
