plagiarism: 剽竊抄襲

有關“花兒”樂隊《嘻唰唰》的版權問題被媒體炒得火熱，而今年“3.15”維權行動的一個亮點是公眾對學術界及藝術創作抄襲、剽竊等造假行為的關注。近年來，學術腐敗、文藝抄襲等現象屢被曝光，如何還學術及文藝一片凈土已成為一個亟待解決的社會問題。

would inevitably be on poor products and shoddy service. But attention is also

報道中的plagiarism專指學術或藝術創作方面的造假行為，用英文可解釋為：using ideas, plots, text and other
intellectual property developed by someone else while claiming it is your
original
work（在自己所謂的原創作品中，偷用別人的觀點和設計方案甚或抄襲文章段落）。Plagiarism由動詞plagiarize衍生而來，舉個例子，Half the
ideas in his writing were plagiarized from an article I wrote last year
（他這篇文章沿用的思想，有一半都是從我去年寫的一篇文章里剽竊來的）。
