objective.

It is essential that your executive resume is audience-focused - it must
succinctly communicate that you understand the employer's needs and that you are
uniquely qualified to meet those needs. While the use of an objective is a
controversial issue, at its base, an objective tells the reader what you want
from him or her. A popular and often more effective alternative to the
objective, the executive profile, allows you to establish focus for the resume
while summarizing the key qualifications and value you offer the employer. This
is a subtle but critical difference - one that may weigh heavily in opening the
door to an
interview.
簡歷最根本的目的是獲取讀簡歷的人的注意，它必須簡潔地表達清楚你已經明白招聘方的需求并且你是唯一一個能勝任這項工作的人。雖然是否在簡歷中寫明求職意向是一個頗有爭議的問題，但是至少它告訴對方你希望得到的職位。現在選擇寫明求職意向還是比較流行的趨勢，它使得你的簡歷在概述關鍵能力的時候有了一個重點，突出了你在某方面的價值。能不能寫好求職意向會帶來很微妙的不同--或許它就是打開面試之門的關鍵。
