Prudence: The princess is missing! You! You, girl! Have you seen the
princess?
Cinderella: Good morning, Prudence.
Prudence: Oh, I thought you -- But those awful clothes! Well, I - I didn't
recognize you, Your Highness. Allow me to introduce your ladies in waiting.
Beatrice and Daphne.
Beatrice：Pleased to meet you.
Cinderella: You're just in time for breakfast.
Beatrice：Breakfast? Ooh, with toast and jam?
Prudence: Your Highness, a princess never prepares her own meals. That is not

Cinderella: There are rules about breakfast?

princess.

1． Highness
這里的highness 可不是“高”的名詞詞性，意思為“陛下，殿下”。那么在日常生活中還是可以用到它來講一些俏皮話，比如說：遵命！就可以是：As your
command, Your Highness.
2．Done
Done的意思有很多，可不只是do的過去分詞那么簡單。 A. Having been carried out or
accomplished; Finished: 結束的；已經被執行或已經被完成的 A done deed. 一件完成了的事 B.
Cooked adequately. 煮熟的：燒得恰到好處的 C. Socially
acceptable: 合乎社會規矩的： Spitting on the street is just not done in polite
society. 在街上吐痰，這在文明社會里是不得體的
在這里的，done是第三種意思。
3．Dress
Dress 作動詞時有"給……穿衣服"的意思，作名詞時有"衣服、禮服"的意思。有個常用的短語是dress up，意思是"盛裝"，比如： They
dressed up and went to the prom. 他們盛裝去參加舞會。
