Free-falling daredevil cleaner catches rope

One of those daredevil cleaners who shine the exterior of tall buildings got a taste of how dangerous the job can get.

But then, with the desperation of earning a livelihood, comes presence of mind.

Cleaning the windows on the 25th floor of a building in Qingdao, Shandong province, on Tuesday, 21-year-old Xiao Liu fell, and during his free fall toward the earth, managed to grab the rope and slid down to safety.

He escaped death with terribly bruised palms.
