Sculptures of smiling gods stand throughout the Bayon Temple, a well-known temple in Angkor, Cambodia, on June 25, 2013. The temple has 49 "face towers" all with smiling faces. The smiling faces represent the Khmer people, the predominant ethnic group in Cambodia. The Bayon Temple is part of the Angkor World Heritage site as listed by UNESCO in 1992.[Photo/Xinhua] |
