American actress/singer Lindsay Lohan is reportedly the new face of designer Jill Stuart's print ad campaign.
The 20-year-old will now be endorsing some contemporary sportswear designs.
Stuart insisted that the 'Mean Girls' actress, who recently shot an ad campaign for the line with Mario Sorrenti in Tokyo, was the best person to represent the brand.
"I can't say enough fantastic things about Lindsay. She is sexy and smart, exactly what the Jill Stuart woman embodies," Justjared.com quoted Stuart, as saying.
Tim Schifter, the chairman and chief executive officer of Schifter + Partners, the accessories firm that has the license for Jill Stuart handbags and small leather goods insisted that the pics in which Lohan is seen hugging the Emelle tote in black patent leather are very interesting.
"Mario's photographs capture Lindsay's sensual beauty and Jill's modern fashion, and his choice of black and white adds glamour and intrigue to the images," Tim said.
He also insisted that Lohan was a good choice as the company's face.
"[Lindsay] resonates with the contemporary consumer on many levels," he added.ill Stuart has built its brand image with consistent marketing, including advertising campaigns shot by top fashion photographers including Patrick Demarchelier, Ellen Von Unwerth, Kelly Klein, and Mario Sorrenti.
