A source close to mother-of-one Kate revealed: "Jamie was livid when he heard about Kate's calls to Pete, he really likes her and wanted things to work out."
While the pair spent the weekend apart - Kate escaped to her Cotswalds retreat while Jamie remained in London - they have now clearly made peace.
The mother of once whisked Jamie away in a private jet for a whirlwind two-day holiday in Ibiza earlier this week, which cost the star a reported 100,000.
The lovers were joined by a group of friends, including former Hollyoaks actress Davinia Taylor.
Last night Kate was back in London to attend a launch party for close friend James Brown, who has released a hair care range.
Rarely one for a quiet night, she then met up with Jamie and headed to a bash in Islington where they carried on partying until 3am.
