Various activities have been organized in Changchun from July 20 in celebration of the ongoing 14th Changchun Film Festival.

An array of more than 200 cultural activities have unfolded in theaters, schools, libraries and civil parks, including a film carnival, a concert featuring theme songs from classic films, and a film poster design contest.

The cultural activities have drawn great attention from the public to the biennial festival even before the opening of the event.

According to the organizing committee of the festival, moviegoers will be able to enjoy over 200 exhibited movies of the film festival in theaters or on cable televisions in Changchun during the festival. Some movies will even be screened in squares and communities for free from Sept 1 to 8.
