Most of these projects focus on the research and development of cutting-edge technologies such as genetic sequencing, backside illumination CMOS and polymeric material.

For instance, the smart manufacturing workshop of Fuyao Glass Industry Group Co Ltd, a multinational company specializing in automobile glass and industrial technical glass manufacturing, has started operation in the city.

Business trademark registration services are offered in the service halls of the Municipal Administration of Industry and Commerce of Changchun, sparing local entrepreneurs and private business owners the trouble of running errands out of town when it comes to trademark registration. The Changchun Economical and Technological Development Zone attracted 152 projects to the area this year. As of now, 323 projects with a total investment of 110.2 billion yuan ($15.9 billion) are currently under construction in Changchun.
