Wang Jinzhen expressed his gratitude towards all the parties for their support for the China Pavilion. He noted that the Expo is an important platform for exhibiting the achievements of human civilization. Themed "Future Energy, Green Silk Road", the China Pavilion showcased new technologies in the transformation and development of new energy, and China's attitude to green and sustainable development.

China's participation in the expo is vital to showcase China's scientific and technological achievements, and to further promote energy cooperation between China and Kazakhstan and other countries, according to Wang.

Shandong, China's major economic province, occupies a vital position in China's economic development. At present, import and export trade with the countries along the "Belt and Road" is becoming a new growth point of Shandong’s foreign trade, leading its structural adjustment, transformation and upgrading of foreign trade.

Wang said that he hopes Shandong will make full use of the China Pavilion platform, further strengthening cooperation with the key countries involved in the Belt and Road Initiative.
