A delegation from the research center of the Iran Communication Ministry visited Zhongguancun Science Park on Jan 14. Ghasen Haghighat, director of the research center, met with Zeng Xiaodong, director of Zhongguancun's business internationalization, at the park's exhibition center.

Zeng introduced the science park and expressed his wishes for further dialogue and cooperation between the two sides. Delegates from Iran's science parks also expressed their support for Zhongguancun's bid to host the annual meeting of the International Association of Science Parks (IASP) 2015.

The delegation visited the company exhibition area and took a closer look at emerging fields like new materials and new energy. They also expressed their appreciation for new products and technologies from leading Zhongguancun-based companies such as Lenovo and Baidu.
