In 2017, the total revenues and net profits of Zhongguancun listed companies reached 398.86 billion yuan and 167.8 billion yuan respectively, with a year-on-year growth rate of 14%.
The leading Internet companies achieved major growth in net profits in 2017. The net profit growth of seven listed companies (Baidu, JD, 58 City, Cheetah, SouFun, Weibo and Momo) exceeded 1 billion RMB, an average increase much higher than 50%.
Gross profits and gross profit margins also continued to rise. In 2017, total gross profits amounted to 803.5 billion yuan, up 19% year-on-year; gross profit margins were 20.14%, up 0.71 percentage points from the previous year, reflecting improvements in the operating efficiency of Zhongguancun listed companies.
