A meeting for intellectual property office heads across China was held in Beijing in January, 2012, at which the SIPO Commissioner Tian Lipu delivered a work report entitled “Further implementing intellectual property rights strategy to support the construction of an innovative country.” The meeting commended the country’s groups and individuals for their outstanding contributions to the national patent system. Wu Yunhua, Deputy Head of the State Administration of Civil Service announced the Decision on Commending Groups and Individuals for Their Outstanding Contributions to the National Patent System, made by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security and the SIPO. Wu Yunhua, along with the SIPO Commissioner and deputy commissioners, presented awards to those who represent their groups or individuals.
